The water temperature can even reach up to 30 degrees, and the record so far has been 33 degrees in 2010. In addition to sunbathing, there is plenty to do at Pärnu beach – architecture enthusiasts can admire the 1938 Rannahouse with its legendary “mushroom”, as well as the Rannahotel from 1937 and the historic Mud Baths, which were completed in 1927.
The beach promenade is one of the symbols of Pärnu beach, and in the summer of 2021, the surf area side of the promenade was reconstructed. New benches and a new cobblestone pavement were installed. New dining options were added – the Mediterranean-themed Oaas beach café and the POKO beach restaurant, which has a sun terrace for enjoying the sunset.

MATSI BEACH
Valgerand, located just a ten-minute drive from the center of Pärnu, is named after its white sandy beach and features beautiful white sand dunes against a backdrop of pine trees. Thanks to its location on the outskirts of the city, Valgerand is particularly suitable for those who want to escape the crowds of the central beach. By walking a little away from the promenade, everyone can find a suitable and more private place to enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves.

A separate attraction is the 9-meter high observation tower with three different height viewing platforms. The observation tower attracts both young and old visitors, and in addition to its spectacular panoramic views, it is also a great place to watch swimmers and cheer on those climbing in the adventure park.
